Designing and developing
with empathy,

because great software should work for everyone.

Hi, I'm passionate about building accessible, human-centered software. I believe the best products grow from empathy — for users and for the communities our work serves. Here's how I got here.

Software Developer | Front-End Lead

  • Leading development of the organization's component library using Vue + TypeScript and establishing standards in Storybook that ensure consistent and accessible UI across all microapps.
  • Building the front-end of DCFS assessment tools using our component library. This directly supports social workers, across the nation, making life-changing decisions for children and families.
  • Embracing AI-assisted development as a core part of my workflow — refining prompts to ship correct, accessible code on the first pass and accelerate the team's velocity.
  • Partnering closely with designers to champion digital accessibility, making sure equitable access is built into the platform.
This is where everything converged: technology, empathy, and accessibility, all in service of people who need it most. It's no longer a job — it's the mission.

eWorld

Software Engineer | Agile Coach | Front-End Tech Lead | Technical Project Manager

  • Brought structure and Agile practices to an unstructured team — coaching engineers and mentoring designers along the way.
  • Led front-end development in Vue, driving consistency across products and championing accessibility in every iteration.
  • Transitioned into Technical Product Management, guiding the full product lifecycle from concept through delivery.
  • Earned trust as a leader by translating between engineers, designers, and stakeholders and turning ambiguity into shippable work.
I found my voice here as a leader, a design advocate, and a process optimizer. This is where I realized how deeply process and empathy can transform both teams and the people they serve.

GE Digital

Software Engineer | Scrum Master

  • Full-stack engineer on FieldVision, an offline-first industrial IoT product used by 150+ field service engineers.
  • Built mobile and web experiences using Angular and Spring Boot; standardized SOPs and health endpoints for the team.
  • Stepped up to lead intern teams and run Agile ceremonies — earned my Scrum Master certification along the way.
This is where I learned the why behind good engineering process — and how much great teamwork actually shapes great software.

Nice to meet you,
I'm AmbyrShae.

I've spent my career somewhere between code and process, moving fluidly between engineering, design, and product management. The thread running through all of it? A belief that great products are built when technology, process, and empathy meet. That's where true social good happens.
